NEW FOR 2020 - M.I.M.I.C.S Courses

2019 - KAR Group - Erbil, IRAQ:

Major Incident Management incorporating I.C.S Training (M.I.M.I.C.S)

ECR have now introduced specialised courses for on-shore facilities such Refineries, Gas Plant, Terminals, Power Stations, Tank Farms or any land based facility with a potential risk for a Major Incident. The course has been developed to simulate the clients own facilities and procedures and to test the management team under simulated conditions. The course also evaluates the current management system and incorporate elements of I.C.S (Incident Command System) into their current organisational structure for dealing with Major Incidents.

Our first two courses were conducted for Kar Group in Erbil, IRAQ in December 2019. Management teams were exposed to simulated incidents dealing with emergencies specific to their industry and location, for example fire, explosion, gas release, terrorist attack, remote location Incidents amongst others. The two courses were well received and we look forward to continuing our support for Kar Group in IRAQ in 2020.

Andy Furber & Michael Graham delivered the first two M.I.M.I.C.S courses over a two week period in Erbil, IRAQ.

During the recent events with the down turn in the oil price, cost savings are an important factor with all major I.O.C's nowadays for training and assessment of competence. Now that we have the ability to deliver MEM-IR courses and OIM CE assessments within Africa this has helped cut clients costs on items such as flights, hotels and payed time away from home for oil and gas managers working within Africa.

ECR Ltd has also developed its mobile simulation equipment whereby instructors can now travel to the clients locations worldwide and conduct training in offices, client training rooms or at the facilities themselves (Industrial Sites / Offshore Installations)
